In this poorly-written game, you play as someone who washed ashore onto an island. It was an entry in IF Comp 2003 where it took 27th place. Use the Bucket of Water here and wash the key out.Amnesia is a TADS 2 interactive fiction game and is © 2003 by Dustin Rhodes (as "crazydwarf"). You'll notice a large open spot where an L-joint should be. Now, head over to the pipes with the key. Pull the bucket back up, and you'll now have a Bucket of Water. Attach the Wooden Bucket to the rope and then send it down into the well. Go over to the well in the middle of the room and pull the rope all the way up. The way I used involves the bucket you picked up. They key itself is in the pipes to the right of the door, and there are two ways to get it out. You'll find it locked, and Daniel will write a Memento noting to find the key. Turning around from this spot, you can also find a Laudanum on the ground near the other bed frame.Įxit this cell, and try to exit the area via the door to your left. ![]() In this cell, you can find a Tinderbox on the ground near the knocked-over chair, and the Wooden Bucket is right in front of it. In the middle of this cell, you'll find the Last Prisoner Note laying on the ground.Īdditionally, behind the bed frame raised up against the back wall you can find another Oil.Įxit this cell, and then enter the second cell on the left. Now, exit this cell and enter the lone cell on the right. Turning around from this spot, head over to the large pile of rocks, and you'll find another Tinderbox on the ground. Upon entering, Daniel will black out and hear a Brute smash some things and kill someone.Īfter waking up and seeing the dead dude on the bed frame, walk towards the front of the frame near the bucket on the ground, you can find a Tinderbox. Assuming you exited via the collapsed wall cell, head directly to the other side of the room and enter the corresponding cell. From here, you pull the bed frame over to the cell bars and crouch jump your way out.Įither way, you are now out of the cell. Now simply go into the cell next door and exit out the gate.įor those wondering, the other way out involves breaking a different loose bar on the upper level of the gate. Simply pull this column towards you and it will collapse through the wall. If you look through the hole you created, you can find a damaged wooden column right in front of you. Push the iron bar until a few bricks from the wall pop out (and make sure to pick up the iron bar when it falls too). Use the Iron Bar on this brick to create a crowbar of sorts. You should see a brick that stands out - if you hover over it, the normal hand icon for interactions will appear. ![]() Now, facing the cell door, look to the brick wall on your left. ![]() Move this bar around for a few seconds and it will break off, which gets you the Iron Bar. If you look at the very bottom right of the cell bars, you can find a bar that is weak and loose. There are actually two ways to get out of the cell I'll detail the wall strategy here. If you go over to the cell door and try to open it, Daniel will write a Memento noting that the door is locked and to find another way out. Oddly enough, even after getting mauled by a Brute and dragged off, Daniel receives a sanity boost upon first waking up in his cell.Īfter standing up, go over to your bedframe that has been tossed against the wall and grab the Oil sitting near it on the ground. After nearing the end, the game has now set you back and locked you in the Cells area.
